You should understand that there are no licenses required to become a coin grader. Placing a grade on a coin is in essence giving an option on the coin therefore you should be aware that all grades that are offered are strictly opinions. Most important is that you realize that all grading is a subjective opinion and can and will vary from person to person, and from grading service to grading service. There are often different grades assigned to the same coin even inside the same grading company.

You can submit the same coin to a grading service three times and three times get a different opinion or grade. The ultimate decision on grade belongs to you. We offer only our subjective opinion and this option should not be used to determine the value of a coin.

We do not subscribed to any form or standard in coin grading; our grades are designed by us and are not to be confused to mean the same as any other grading company.

We make no guarantee as to the quality of the coin graded or the condition of the coin graded. We do guarantee the coin to be authentic and will stand by the authentication of the coin to be minted by the mint represented in the offering. However, that guarantee is a limited guarantee.

Limitation of Liability for Grading: All parties understand and agree that the opinion required in grading coins involves GEC’s subjective judgment. Consequently, GEC makes no warranty or representation and shall have no liability whatsoever to the customer for the grade assigned by GEC to any coin.

Any dispute under this Guarantee will be resolved by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator conducted at the home office of GEC, pursuant to the rules and regulations of the American Arbitration Association.

GEC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE GEC WEBSITE OR ANY GEC PRODUCT OR SERVICE, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THE GEC WARRANTY INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN. THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT BE ENFORCEABLE IN SOME JURISDICTIONS.
